1. Who we are

Ascenra South Africa operates this website at ascenra.co.za. We are part of the Ascenra group. Related properties include ascenra.net, ascenraglobal.com, ascenrads.com, ascenraoffers.com, buymywishes.com, ascenraradio.com, ascenrajobs.com, and other live Ascenra sites. This policy covers ascenra.co.za. Other domains have their own policies.

2. Information we collect

We collect information you submit on purpose, and limited technical data needed to run the site.

• Enquiry and order details: name, business name, email, phone or WhatsApp number, message content, package selected, and files you attach.
• Payment records: Stripe Checkout session identifiers, package name, amount in ZAR, and PayPal.me notes you include. Card numbers are handled by Stripe, not stored on this website.
• Technical data: IP address, browser type, device type, referring URL, pages viewed, and approximate location derived from IP.
• Cookies and similar technologies as described in the Cookie Policy.

3. How we use information

• To respond to quotes, support, and partnership requests.
• To take payment, confirm orders, and deliver websites, AscenraDS, or other agreed work.
• To send receipts, onboarding steps, and service notices.
• To keep the site secure, measure traffic, and fix errors.
• To meet tax, accounting, and legal duties in South Africa.

We do not sell personal information. We do not use enquiry data to run unrelated advertising lists without your request.

4. Legal bases (POPIA)

We process personal information under the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA). Typical bases are: your consent (forms and cookies that are not strictly necessary), performance of a contract (quotes, orders, support), legitimate interests (site security and basic analytics), and legal obligation (invoices and records).

5. Who we share data with

• Stripe, to process card payments with the same live Stripe account used on ascenra.net.
• PayPal, if you pay via paypal.me/GarthS1.
• Hosting and email providers that run ascenra.co.za.
• Analytics providers such as Google Tag Manager / Google Analytics if those tags are active.
• Other Ascenra group companies only when needed to deliver the service you asked for (for example an AscenraDS store on ascenrads.com).
• Authorities if the law requires it.

6. International transfers

Payment and hosting providers may process data outside South Africa. We use established providers and limit what we send to what is needed for the service.

7. Retention

Enquiry records are kept as long as needed to complete the request and for a reasonable follow-up period. Order, tax, and accounting records are kept for the periods required by South African law. Analytics data follows the provider’s retention settings.

8. Security

The site is served over HTTPS. Access to the WordPress admin and order records is limited to people who need it. No method of transmission is perfectly secure. Tell us promptly if you think your information was misused.

9. Your rights

Subject to POPIA, you may request access to your personal information, correction, deletion where we no longer need it, or restriction of processing. You may withdraw consent for optional cookies. You may lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator (South Africa).

10. Children

This site is aimed at businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children for marketing.

11. Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top will change. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
